Our Story
Chabad of Margate was established in 2025, to serve the Jewish community of Margate, Florida. Chabad is a place where everyone is welcome, regardless of affiliation or prior level of knowledge. Its sole purpose is to create a warm, welcoming environment to explore and experience Judaism's warm and relevant spiritual inspirations in a non-judgmental and inviting atmosphere.
Since its inception, Chabad of Margate strives to meet the needs of the community with religious services, and social events, as well as an array of programming. There is no charge to come to Chabad. Feel free to come as often as you'd like. You're already a member. We all are.
Chabad of Margate is a local, independent and financially self-supporting entity. Every dollar that we receive comes from the generosity of people like you. We are a 501(c)(3) organization and your donations are fully tax deductible.
Meet the Denburg's

Rabbi Mendel and Chaya Denburg, together with their daughter Leah, moved and founded Chabad of Margate in 2025.
Rabbi Mendel was born and grew up in nearby Coral Springs, Fl, from where his parents started Chabad of Coral Springs and Lubavitch Hebrew Academy. He has much experience in outreach and interacting with people of all ages, having studied in yeshivos both in America and Israel.
Chaya, was born and raised in Crown Heights, in Brooklyn. Growing up in an open home and a constant stream of guests, and having spent summers in C-kids and C-teen programs, she has a very strong passion for helping and inspiring other Jews.
